The GF3 SLIM - fiberglass rod Ø 3 mm is a cable pulling tool including without meter With a maximum diameter of just Ø 4.5 mm, it is ideal for retrofitting occupied pipes or laying fiber optic cables (FTTH - Fiber To The Home). The fiberglass rod Ø 3 mm with patented RG4.5 guide head including swivel is stored in an extremely shock-resistant plastic box. The unit of measurement of the meter counter can be changed from Metric (m) to Imperial (ft). With the newly developed RG4.5 guide head with front thread RTG Ø 3 mm including swivel, it is possible to overcome bending radii up to R = 40 mm. The automatic glide back protection prevents the fiberglass rod from accidentally slipping back into the box. The box can be opened for service work with just one screw on the back. This also allows the integrated accessory box, which contains a 14-piece accessory set, to be removed. The included adapter thread with RTG Ø 3 mm internal thread to RTG Ø 6 mm external thread enables many possible combinations. The box also has an ergonomic carrying handle and an anti-slip coating on the back. The total breaking load of 100 kg refers to the glass fiber rod Ø 3 mm including RG4.5 guide head with twist compensation.
